In this dialog, you can set the default font for the remainder of your document to XITS2 or Cambria2 or any other math font. You can also set the default font for entire documents, sections, or sections of equations. Manipulate the Default Math Font: setting in this dialog with the arrow buttons to toggle an equation that has already been inserted.
You can also choose a math font from this dialog. If you select a font, the equation corresponding to the one in the document will be loaded with it, e.g., the selected font will be used for the remainder of the document. The Method setting in the dialog controls whether the equation is loaded directly with the selected font or converted to text first. When the conversion to text is selected, the font name should not be included in the equation. Press OK to apply the settings. To cancel, press Cancel.
Once the math font is applied to a document, you may need to insert equations manually, using the method you prefer. It is possible to change the math font back to Times New Roman, in case you wish, by selecting the equation, right-clicking on it, and clicking on the Equation Options to switch it back to Times New Roman.
